Position Overview
The City of St. Edward is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a full-time Water/Wastewater Operator & Maintenance Worker.
Job Duties
This position will perform duties in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the:
- Sewer and water systems
- Streets
- Storm drainage
- Parks
- Swimming pool
- City equipment
- Public buildings
- Heavy equipment operations
- Other tasks as assigned for the City of St. Edward
Qualifications
Candidate must:
- Be in good physical condition
- Possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license
- Have a clean driving record
- Hold State Certification as a Grade 4 Water Operator and a Grade 2 Wastewater Operator license or have the ability to obtain proper licensure within 1 year of employment
Compensation
Pay based on experience and certification.
